River Dogs Baseball Club, Inc. is a non-profit baseball club serving the Longmeadow and Western Mass area. We currently have U-13, U-15, and U-17 teams participating in the John L Sullivan League (JLS) in Springfield, MA. The emphasis of the club is on 3 things: developing players' skills, building self-esteem, and having fun. The founder and president of the club is John Valencia, who has coached youth sports for over 25 years after graduating from Trinity College. John pitched at Trinity for 4 seasons and also played in the Tri-County League during that period. He has coached at all levels up through high school.
